Reflection on the Dhamma path after Pindacara

Reflection on the Dhamma path after Pindacara

On Saturday 3 October, members, volunteers and devotees came together for Pindacara, offering alms to the Sangha and rejoicing in the generosity of the community at the OUG and Happy Garden markets. Through this simple yet meaningful practice, we cultivate generosity, gratitude and wholesome qualities that support our journey on the Dhamma path.

In the morning Dhamma sharing, Ven. Dhammaratana invited us to reflect on the ultimate goal of the Buddhist path – the realisation of Nibbāna. Is it possible to attain Nibbāna in this lifetime? He encouraged us to aspire towards the first stage of awakening, Stream-entry (Sotāpanna), and explained the four qualities of a Stream-enterer.

Many may have faith and knowledge, but one should strive to develop true understanding through practice. May we continue to strengthen our confidence in the Three Jewels, cultivate virtue and diligently walk the Noble Eightfold Path towards liberation. Sādhu!
