Today marks the 50th day that work on the Nalanda Centre Expansion Project began. The project is an extensive one, covering many details and technical challenges. To date, 15% of the work has been completed, with safe and steady progress.

Read moreIt has been a month since work started on the Nalanda Centre Expansion Project. We are happy to report that renovation is progressing smoothly and steadily. Demolition work is 100% finished, and our spirited workers are now casting the subterranean water tank and higher-level floor slabs. Once completed, the expanded Nalanda Centre will be able to cater to 8,400 users a month comprising adult practitioners, students coming for Dhamma Studies, undergraduates, youths, and children.

From its humble beginnings 24 years ago, Serdang Buddhist Association has contributed much to the community through various programmes and activities. As part of their expansion plan, a new building to cater for the Association’s activities is being planned.
