Nalanda KL Branch Annual General Meeting

The 9th Annual General Meeting of Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch will be held on Sunday, 6 March 2022 from 2pm at Nalanda Centre, Seri Serdang. All registered members of the Branch are requested to attend this important meeting for updates on the Branch progress, to chart the way forward, and to elect the Branch Management Committee for 2022 – 2024.

Nalanda Sungai Petani holds 8th A.G.M.

On Saturday 13 March, Nalanda Sungai Petani (SP) Branch held their 8th Annual General Meeting at the NEO Centre in SP, with Branch Chairman Bro. Song Wai Leng presiding.  The meeting was well attended by Branch members who followed the Covid-19 SOPs strictly but gladly as they gathered on this important occasion.

8th A.G.M. of Nalanda KL Branch

On Sunday 7 March, members of Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch gathered joyfully at Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang for their 8th AGM.  The meeting was also joined by Nalanda Buddhist Society President, Sis. Evelyn Chow, Honorary Secretary Sis. Santi Cheang, Board of Management member Bro. Lee Kong Foo and EXCO member Sis. Nandini Tan.

Nalanda Buddhist Society’s 18th Annual General Meeting

All members of Nalanda Buddhist Society Malaysia registered at Sri Serdang headquarters are requested to attend the 18th Annual General Meeting on Sunday, 21 March.  Members will review the activities of 2020 and discuss the Society’s latest plans. We look forward to welcome all members back to our spiritual home at Nalanda Centre for this important annual meeting.

Nalanda 17th A.G.M. Postponed

Nalanda Buddhist Society’s 17th Annual General Meeting was originally scheduled to be held on Sunday, 22 March 2020. However, due to the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the Registrar of Societies (RoS) in its circular dated 16 March 2020, has directed the deferment of all societies’ annual meetings to (after) 30 June 2020.

7th A.G.M. of Nalanda SP Branch

On Saturday 7 March, members of Nalanda Sungai Petani Branch gathered for their 7th AGM.  The meeting at NEO Centre in SP was well attended by members, who discussed the Society’s development in 2019 and the plans for the coming year.  The meeting was joined by Nalanda President Sis. Evelyn Chow, and Honorary Secretary Sis. Santi Cheang.

17th A.G.M. is Postponed

UPDATE :

Due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, the Registrar of Societies in their circular dated 16 March 2020 has directed the deferment of our A.G.M. to June 2020.  Therefore, notice is hereby given that the 17th A.G.M. scheduled on 22 March will not be held.  A new date for the A.G.M. will be decided and announced later by Nalanda Board of Management.  Thank you.

Nalanda Buddhist Society’s 16th A.G.M.

All members of Nalanda Buddhist Society Malaysia registered at Sri Serdang headquarters are reminded to attend the 16th Annual General Meeting on Sunday, 17 March.  Members will review last year’s activities, and discuss the Society’s latest development plans.   The 2019-2021 term Board of Management will also be elected at this A.G.M.  Let us come together to chart our future!

15th National A.G.M. concluded joyfully

On Sunday 25 March, Nalanda Buddhist Society members congregated at Nalanda Centre for the Society’s 15th Annual General Meeting.  There was a lot of rejoicing and appreciation for the hard work put in by the Board of Management, EXCO Members, education team, administrative staff, Society members and volunteers which brought Nalanda to a higher level of success in 2017.
