A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined this meaningful session.

On Saturday 7 February 2026, the parents and students of Nalanda Family Dhamma School Johor Bahru gathered for a heartwarming and inspiring learning session, featuring a special forum on welcoming the Lunar New Year with kind hearts.

Moderated by Sis. Wicia Fong, the forum guided families to reflect on the deeper meaning of the New Year beyond festivities and traditions. This meaningful session featured three inspiring panelists — Sis. Nandinī Tan, Sis. Yeoh Min Li, and Bro. Walter Tan, who shared practical ways to celebrate Lunar New Year with respect, gratitude, kindness, and mindfulness.

Parents and students participated actively in the discussions, discovering how family love, appreciation, and thoughtful speech and actions can create a more harmonious and joyful home, both during festive seasons and daily lives. The session also featured the short video “Bring Home Something of Value” produced by NalandaTV in 2025, gently reminding everyone that the most precious gift we can offer one another is our presence and time together.

The afternoon concluded beautifully with students taking leave and exchanging blessings with Nalanda seniors and elders, as a gesture of practising respect and kindness.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined this meaningful session. May this New Year be filled with kindness, generosity, and joyful hearts.
