Satipatthāna learning journey concludes

Participants gathered at Nalanda Centre for the final Satipatthāna Learning Session.

On Wednesday 9 September, participants gathered at Nalanda Centre for the final Satipatthāna Learning Session, concluding our journey through the Four Foundations of Mindfulness.

Led by Sis. Paruadi, the session explored the Four Noble Truths and Noble Eightfold Path under Dhammānupassanā (Contemplation of Dhamma). Participants reflected on how these essential teachings guide us to understand suffering, its causes, its cessation, and the path towards liberation.

Each session begins with devotional chanting.

The session continues with a 40-minute meditation.

Sis. Buddhini was one of the speakers, shared on topics such as “Working with Emotions Mindfully”.

As the learning sessions come to a close, the practice continues. We encourage everyone to cultivate meditation daily at a convenient time, and to join the weekly group meditation at Nalanda Centre every Wednesday evening. Through consistent practice, may mindfulness become increasingly present in our daily lives.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Sis. Buddhinī, Sis. Nandinī and Sis. Paruadi for their dedicated sharing and guidance throughout the learning sessions. May everyone continue to learn, practise and progress on the path of Dhamma.

Sis. Nandini was one of the speakers, shared on topics such as “Repulsiveness of the Body, Four Elements and Nine Charnel Grounds”.

Sis. Paru was one of the speakers, shared on topics such as “Mindfulness on Dhamma”.

Participants were listening attentively to the speaker.

Group discussion and sharing after the learning.
