This Wednesday (21 June), Nalanda Centre is honoured to host the return of most Venerable Sayadaw Nyanapurnik Mahāthera to deliver a Dhamma teaching at 8.00pm. Sayadaw’s talk will be followed by our regular meditation session from 9.00pm to 10.00pm.

Sayadaw Nyanapurnik is a senior Nepalese monk of Sakyan descent. He is a Pāli scholar and Vipassana teacher, and has been actively working for the development of Theravāda Buddhism in Nepal for half a century.
Ordained at the age of 10, Sayadaw Nyanapurnik studied the Dhamma extensively in Nepal and Myanmar. In 1963, he was awarded the prestigious ‘Sāsanadhaja Dhammāchariya’ title, a highly-respected honour in Burmese Buddhist monastic education.
