Celebrating Nalanda’s 22 Anniversary with renewed commitment

On Thursday 1 May, members, supporters, devotees and volunteers gathered for Nalanda Day to celebrate the Society’s 22nd Anniversary.  President Sis. Buddhinī Tan led us to commemorate the Society’s progress thus far with gratitude for the many nameless, faceless and selfless contributors, and more importantly reaffirm our steadfastness in upholding Nalanda’s mission in holistic education.  In conjunction with this occasion, two books authored by Ajahn Buddhadasa was launched and is available for free distribution to the community.

Happy Young Adults develop genuine friendship and wise networking

On Tuesday 29 April, the young working adults group learned about ‘Building Genuine Friendship and Wise Networking’ with Sis. See Hui Shien at Nalanda Education & Outreach Centre K.L. in Happy Garden. They defined the meaning of ‘networking’ in the Dhamma context and building genuine friendship at work.
