
On Wesak Day, we can take the opportunity to recall and reflect on the Buddha’s teaching as well as deepen our Dhamma practice during this significant day. We can
- Visit a Buddhist Centre or temple with family and friends; mindfully and joyfully participate in a religious ceremony.
- Listen to Dhamma talks to deepen our understanding of the Buddha’s teachings.
- Strengthen mindfulness of our actions, speech and thoughts through the Five Precepts.
- Develop generosity by offering food and donations to local charities and temples
- Count our blessings in life and practise contentment.
- Deepen our meditation practice.
- Aspire for peace, harmony and wisdom in our heart, our family and country.
- Read a book on Buddhism and share our understanding with family and friends.
