Nalanda Centre was honoured to host a one-day Metta Meditation Retreat organised by Serdang Buddhist Association on Saturday 11 July, welcoming 90 participants for a wholesome day of meditation and Dhamma learning under the guidance of Ven. U Paññasami.
Throughout the retreat, participants learnt the true meaning of mettā (loving-kindness), cultivating a heart of goodwill towards family, friends, including those with whom they may experience difficulties, and all beings.

Nalanda Dhamma School student led a tour for Ven. Paññasāmi at the “Terima Kasih, Dhammananda” Exhibition.

During the lunch break, participants also visited the “Terima Kasih Dhammananda” and Wisdom Park Phase 2 exhibitions.
We are grateful to Ven. U Paññasami for his compassionate guidance and to the Organising Team of Serdang Buddhist Association for the opportunity to host this meaningful meditation retreat once again. We rejoice in the participants’ earnest learning spirit and wish them every success in cultivating mettā and wisdom in their daily lives.

Nalanda Institute Director Bro. Ooi Boon Keat and Assistant Director Sis. Sandy Lim took the opportunity to brief Ven. Paññasāmi, one of the speakers for the upcoming Intra-Buddhist Dialogue.

Bro. Tan Say Kee, Chairman of the Wisdom Park Development Committee, shared with the participants the vision and need for the Phase 2 development of Wisdom Park.

Sis. Evelyn, on behalf of the Nalanda Board, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the Serdang Buddhist Association for giving Nalanda the opportunity to host this meaningful event.
