It provided a golden opportunity for everyone to perform wholesome deeds and cultivate generosity to end the year in a fruitful and meaningful way. Read moreFrom 6 to 9 December, Nalanda hosted a monastic entourage from Indonesia as part of a larger group who stayed in Nalanda Centre for an Asubha workshop organised by the Academy of Silent Mentor and Sāsanārakkha Buddhist Sanctuary. The entourage was led by Ven. Ālokavaṃsa Thera and included 5 other bhikkhus (monks), 2 sameneras (novice monks), and 6 sayalays (10-preceptor nuns).

Hosted by members and volunteers of Nalanda Kuala Lumpur branch, volunteers continued to engage more market-goers’ whose interest were piqued by the sight of so many people presenting food and requisites to the monks.
