First ‘Care Bags’ of 2025 shared with kids at Pure Life

Last Saturday 21 June, Nalanda volunteers and youths delivered the first batch of Care Bags, totalling 80, to needy children attending ‘Malam Muhibbah’ at Pure Life Society, Puchong.  Volunteers also contributed food of different cultures to this event, organised by Pure Life which promotes unity and harmony.

Support holistic education at Nalanda Family Fun Fair

We are happy to announce that the popular Nalanda ‘Family Fun Fair’ (FFF) is back and will be held on Sunday, 17 August, from 9am to 3pm.  This annual event brings together the community to support educational programmes of Nalanda Free School, Nalanda Institute, Dharma School, Library and Youth Centre.  Funds raised will also be channeled towards  building a teaching hall, hostel and ancillary facilities at Wisdom Park.

Volunteers are on the way to J.B. Family Fun Fair

Over 30 Nalanda members, Dhamma School facilitators and students are currently on their way to Nalanda Education & Outreach (NEO) Centre in Johor Bahru to support the Family Fun Fair tomorrow.  Led by President Sis. Buddhinī Tan, the group arrived at Nalanda Centre early this morning for chanting, and are in high spirits to lend their strength at NEO J.B.

Youths show “Kindness is Priceless” at Family Fun Fair

At the heart of this year’s Family Fun Fair are the Youth Canopies, run by over 120 young working adults and undergraduates from across the peninsula, who gathered to render their selfless service.  With just weeks of planning after Wesak, the youths set up 18 stalls, an exhibition to reach out to the community and also drive green initiatives through the Recycling Team.
