BGF celebrates its 25th Anniversary

On Saturday 19 April, a team of Nalandian officers led by Deputy President Bro. Lee Teck Beng attended Buddhist Gem Fellowship’s 25th Anniversary Dinner in Petaling Jaya.  In his speech, BGF President Dato’ Seri Dr. Victor Wee thanked everyone who have contributed to the advancement of BGF over the past two and a half decades.

“Good Bye MH370 – May You Rest in Peace.”

Statement from Nalanda Buddhist Society Malaysia

At 10pm (Malaysian time) on 24 March 2014, the Honorable Prime Minister of Malaysia, Y.A.B. Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, went on air to officially announce the fate of MH370 – it is now firmly established that the missing Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 crashed into the Southern Indian Ocean with 239 people on board.  None of them could have survived.

Chinese-language communications team

The Nalanda Chinese-Language Communications Team was formed a month ago to publish news articles in Mandarin.  The team’s objective is to propagate Dhamma and communicate more effectively with Mandarin-speaking communities.  The team launched a Chinese Facebook page 10 days ago on 5 March, which has since garnered more than 370 ‘Likes’.
