We invite you to join us in observing the annual ‘Sangha Day’ at Nalanda Centre on Sunday, 9 November. This is an important occasion for Buddhists to honour the virtues and contributions of the monastic community. Devotees express gratitude to monks and nuns who strive diligently in practising the Dhamma, and teaching it for the benefit of mankind.
On ‘Sangha Day’, we can offer robes, requisites, or donate towards the Sangha Fund for their educational and supportive needs. Please register your participation with this link https://forms.gle/8VJMG6x7yuTKYAGm7 .
Programme:
09.00 am – Meditation, offerings to ‘Three Jewels’, and chanting
09.45 am – English & Mandarin Dhamma talk
10.30 am – Robe & requisite offerings to Sangha members
11.30 am – Sanghika Dāna – offering alms-food to monks
12.00 pm – Lunch for devotees
We welcome you, your family and friends to participate in this auspicious and wholesome activity. With our support, may the Sangha live peacefully, and may the Buddha-Sāsanā long endure!
