On Saturday 18 October, Nalanda members and volunteers gathered at the Seri Kembangan morning market for the monthly Pindacāra (monks on alms-round) programme with faith and joy. As the venerable monks walked calmly through the market lanes, many devotees and stall owners paused their busy routines to respectfully offer alms with palms joined in reverence.
The sight of the Sangha receiving offerings with serene composure inspired both regular supporters and new onlookers alike. Even children and first-time donors took part with radiant smiles, experiencing the wholesome joy of giving.

Pindacāra is not just an ancient tradition but also a living practice that connects the Sangha and laity through generosity and gratitude. We thank the venerable monks, devotees, and volunteers who were part of this meaningful morning. May the merits accrued bring happiness and peace to all beings. Sādhu anumodāna!
