On Saturday 17 October, Nalanda conducted its monthly Pindacāra at the Seri Kembangan markets, led by Ven. Rahula and Ven. Thanakit from Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple, Sentul.

Rooted in a tradition dating back to the Buddha’s time, Pindacāra nurtures generosity, faith, and wholesome connections between the monastic and lay communities. Despite the hazy conditions, volunteers and market-goers continued to participate wholeheartedly, reflecting the enduring spirit of generosity and community togetherness.

A briefing was given to both Ven. Rahula and Ven. Thanakit after welcoming their arrival.

May all who participated rejoice in the merits of this wholesome deed, and may we continue to cultivate noble qualities for the well-being of all. Sādhu! Sādhu! Sādhu!
