On Sunday 20 April, Nalanda leaders led by President Sis. Buddhinī Tan joined the community at the Selangor State Wesak Launching Ceremony at Maha Karuna Vihara in Shah Alam. The event which marked the beginning of Wesak celebrations in the state, was attended by over 300 Buddhist leaders and devotees.

Today, Green Warriors of Wisdom Park and our friends from Seck Kia Eenh, Melaka have planted trees and shrubs to green and cool the environment. Lead of the Landscaping Team, Dr. Chen Xing Wei also conducted a special HCL 002 (Horticulture and Landscaping Course) class open to all volunteers on responsible food waste management.
Read moreOn Saturday 12 April, Serdang Buddhist Association organised a Metta Bhavana Retreat at Nalanda Centre from 9am to 5.30pm. Ven. U Paññāsami, who currently resides in Dhamma Earth, guided the group consisting of 90 participants in cultivating this ennobling quality of loving-kindness. Tranquillity and calm permeated the Centre as participants listened intently to his instructions and put them into practice immediately.
