Every first Saturday of the month, the communities at the OUG and Happy Garden markets keep a keen lookout for the sight of saffron-coloured robes. Just so, on Saturday 3 August, stall vendors and market-goers came together to give freely and joyfully to members of the Sangha during the monthly Pindacāra (monks on alms-round) programme.

Held concurrently across all three Nalanda Branches in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Sungai Petani, this course is organised by Nalanda Institute Malaysia and provides an insight into the Buddha’s teachings about the laity’s duties and moral conduct.
