On 5 and 6 July, 27 Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch Junior Dharma School students between the ages of 9 and 12 years old stayed-in at Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang. The objectives of the stay-in were to foster bonding among facilitators and students, to learn Buddhist culture and chanting, as well as to involve parents in rendering service to the Buddhist community. On Tuesday 1 July, Nalandians from Sri Serdang and NEO Centre Kuala Lumpur gathered at the Sri Petaling night market to engage the public on Nalanda’s upcoming ‘Pindacāra’ (monks on alms-round) and ‘Family Fun Fair’ events.

In the early morning of Saturday 7 June, Nalandians and devotes gathered at the Sri Petaling and Happy Garden markets to take part in the monthly ‘Pindacāra’ (monks going on alms-round). We were grateful to welcome two monks from the Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple, Sentul to go on ‘Pindacāra’.
