Today 28 December, Nalandians welcomed Ven. Thitañana, founder of Estonian Theravada Sangha, Ven. Thitamedha and nine youths from Estonia to Nalanda Centre. Ven Thitañana is leading the group around Asia as part of the cultural trip organised by the Estonian Theravada Sangha to introduce them to Asian cultures and the Buddhist way of life. We wish them a fruitful learning journey and a safe trip.

The group, led by their President Dr. Ng Yee Kong, travels annually to various monasteries in Malaysia to celebrate the offering of ‘Kathina’. It was their 7th consecutive yearly visit to Nalanda Centre, a place which they find genuine warmth and inspiration.
