Buddhananda. It is heartwarming to see marketgoers and traders, both new and regular, enthusiastically offering cooked food, fruits and requisites to the monks on alms-round. Nalanda members and volunteers also shared information regarding the Pindacāra programme, whilst encouraging onlookers to perform this good deed.

The meeting commenced with a warm welcoming speech from Branch Chairperson Sis. Ong Ai Geok who thanked all members for a fruitful year together. Sis. Livin Leow also represented the Society’s Board of Management to deliver an opening speech to J.B. members.
