The Wisdom Park Development Committee (WPDC) held its 7th meeting on Sunday, 6 March at Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang. Among other things, the Committee discussed in greater detail the components of Phase 1 development. The 8th meeting of WPDC will be held on 31 March. Read moreOn Sunday 8 November, members of the Wisdom Park Development Committee visited the site in Kuala Kubu Bharu to view the terrain and surroundings. Land survey there, which began in late August, was completed in October. A ‘Master Development Plan’ for Wisdom Park is being drafted by the specially-appointed Development Committee comprising 11 members – 4 professionals, 4 representatives of the Buddhist community, and 3 Nalanda Buddhist Society officers.
Read more‘Sangha Day’ was celebrated at Nalanda Centre today to honour the virtues and contributions of monks and nuns who strive diligently to bring Buddha’s teaching to the many. As part of our effort to support the Sangha and strengthen the Buddha-Sāsana, a parcel of land has been set aside at Wisdom Park to build a monastery in the future. That portion of land is located at the far end of the park, suitably secluded, and surrounded by forest reserve with a lovely stream flowing through.
