‘Dhamma Day’ commemorates the preaching of Buddha’s first discourse after His Enlightenment – the ‘Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta’ – where He taught His first disciples the fundamental teachings of ‘Four Noble Truths’ on the full-moon day of Asalha month.
