On Sunday 3 June, the Wisdom Park Development Committee (WPDC) had our 34th monthly meeting at Nalanda Centre in Sri Serdang. The meeting discussed construction progress of Phase 1A, as well as the launch of Phases 1B and 1C. Committee members usually take turns to chair our meetings, and this time around, it was ably chaired by Bro. Chuan Ze Wen.

The inaugural Summit was jointly organised by Nalanda Institute and the Theravāda Buddhist Council of Malaysia. It targeted society Presidents, Deputy Presidents, Honorary Secretaries, and Youth Leaders as participants. All in, twenty organisations sent 76 delegates to the convention.

There was a lot of rejoicing and appreciation for the hard work put in by the Board of Management, EXCO Members, education team, administrative staff, Society members and volunteers which brought Nalanda to a higher level of success in 2017.
