Every year between the Full-moon days of May and July, Nalanda organises a 7-week period of Dhamma immersion where devotees can gather for meditation, chanting, Dhamma discussions, and communal service. This 7-week programme is called the ‘Gimhāna Retreat’ at Nalanda. This year it begins on 28 May and ends on 16 July.

The workshop saw an overwhelming turn out beyond the targeted 100 participants. Seasoned meditators traveled from near and far to learn from the experienced and knowledgeable teacher, Āyasmā Aggacitta.
