Buddha Day Observance commences this evening (30 May 2026). This week-long observance starts at 8pm tonight with Buddha Day Eve Service featuring Buddha Pūja, offerings, meditation and a Dhamma talk by Sis. Paruadi Ramasamy on “The Buddha’s Life Journey”. Let us gather with spiritual friends to reflect on the Buddha’s path to enlightenment and liberation.

With the theme “Strength in Serenity”, this stay-in aimed to help students strengthen their minds to face life’s difficulties while learning to incorporate Buddhist principles into daily living.

Wisdom Park was envisioned as an integrated educational facility for the training of Buddhist leaders, Dhamma teachers and inculcating Buddhist values and culture.

This is Ajahn’s third visit to Nalanda and the community was grateful for the opportunity to associate with a well-practiced teacher to learn the Dhamma and make offerings.

The retreat consisted of Dhamma talks, sitting and walking meditations, complemented by mindful awareness during eating and chores. Group interviews also allowed participants to seek guidance and clarification about their practice.
