In Memoriam – A decade in passing

On the fateful day of 25 August 2009, while travelling on a charity tour to help build schools and welfare homes in Ladakh, four of our dear Dhamma friends – G. G. Tan, Julie Ang, Jennie Cheong, and Lee Ah Yem – met with a tragic road accident that caused them their lives. Today marks the 10th anniversary of their passing, and a group of Nalandians led by Nalanda founder Bro. Tan is now in Ladakh to pay special tribute for their services rendered to the Buddha-Sāsana.

A mother’s love; An unselfish love

A mother is compassionate when we are anxious, and patient when we are errant.  They forgive us for our carelessness, and carefully lets us develop to our potential.  In celebration of Mother’s Day, let our appreciation for them be unrelenting, just as a mother’s love is unending.  We wish all mothers everywhere a meaningful and joyful Mother’s Day.  May they be blessed with good health, comfort, happiness, and peace.  May they be blessed with love.
